Discovering An Artist

I take a monthly news magazine on France, written in English. There is always on advertisement for Perry Taylor somewhere in the paper. His work always seemed whimsical, which is something I really enjoy. Walking around the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach was always a treat. So finding Perry’s work, was a nice surprise.

He was born in England, worked there and Amsterdam as a graphic designer and art director prior to retiring the the Haute Pyrenees. Using his humorous point of view he has captured the life style of this region and the people who populate the area.

So his website is a wonderful way to find his work. 4 different books, and hundreds of individual pieces of work. Hopefully he will not mind, but here is a sampling of his work. I find it extremely entertaining.

If you enjoy his work, please visit his website

After seeing these pictures of his work, I think I’ve seen quite a bit of his work and like you, enjoy it. I’d love to find and hang the Coq au Vin piece!
